Mariah Carey has won a legal battle after a judge dismissed brother Morgan Carey’s defamation lawsuit over her 2020 memoir, The Meaning of Mariah Carey. Morgan sought more than $20 million, alleging reputational damage. The court ruled he failed to establish actual malice. His lawyer has said he plans to appeal the dismissal.
